"Ningen" mythical sea creature: real or make-believe?

Image
Urban myths and legends do not only happen on land; the great depths of the oceans carry far more than those ever known to mankind. One of the most mystic and bizarre urban legends is one about a  Ningen, a sea creature that, given its description, looks like humans. This mythical creature first made appearance in the 1990s, in Japan, when an individual of a "government whale research vessel" posted about it. That is what the novel says,  but have you ever considered where the story o...

Here we are going to see how the legend goes and if there's a true story behind it. The story of Bloody Mary is a frightening one to say the least, and what's worst is that there are many variations of it. The most popular one goes something like this. You go to the bathroom, turn off the lights but you have a lit candle with you and say Bloody Mary three times and a terrifying figure will appear. Now one of three things will happen, either you will bleed your eyes out, she will rip your head off or scratch your face, or she will take you inside the mirror with her. Each one is worse than  the other, to be honest. There are many variations of the story. Some say she was a witch who lived at the time of the Puritans and was related to the infamous Salem Witch Trials. As witches were banned at the time, they lived in c...
